My work in this series explores a deep obsession with the rose, an iconic symbol of beauty, love, and passion resonating with profound emotional depth and cultural significance.

 

Greatly inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe’s monumental floral compositions and my admiration for Pop Art, the large-scale works infuse a bold, contemporary flair into classical botanical themes. Through meticulous watercolor and colored pencils, or graphite, each piece captures the rose's unfolding petals in a kaleidoscope of hues, embodying an ephemeral enchantment and timeless allure.
